why? This mdoel in particular or NB generally? Im interestied in hearing why, since this seems a more of a lay back model of theirs, and its pretty discreete when pair with clothes (on its own they seem more flashy).

That colourway in particular.

The shoe design is usually busy enough that simple colours work best (black and white 574s or Red and white 420, grey 996 summer utility). Even their simpler designs look nicer with cleaner, more streamlined colours.

That way the shoe stands out in a subtle way, instead of an in your face way.

I get your point. I thouhgt you were reffering to hte 90s rad which is slightly gaoudy (like every "cool" thing is).

reagrding the trialbusters, you would be surpised how under the radar they are when you wear them with pants (its probably the effect of the khaki shade which tones it down, unlike this one>>11179048 that does seem very flashy)

I like them a little bit flashy, but just a little bit, airmax level is nigger tier, but there needs to be a bit of personality to work for me. But ligher colours is a must for me to work with the warddorpbe, black shoes/boots look very weird unless pants arent black

what do you whink about pic rel? also trailbuster but differn colour. colorus by themselves are tacky as a cheetos packaging, but somehow it seems to work (although Id loose the turquise).

Ok, ill take that back, my msitake, its jsut when tennis shoes were popular in around 2006-2009, they were popular at the same time with Pumas etc. so i change them but those are very similar (flat soles, durable, simpel desings etc. + extremly uncomfortable unlike running shoes)
