This, but only if you're tall. They started making their products longer this season even though they were already quite long to begin with (especially when comparing to US/Italian products). Really good shit though and for a very reasonable price.

Then again, they're Norwegian, most people there are quite tall.

Otherwise you have brands like Saman Amel, John Smedley etc. that make some good turtlenecks. Not in white though.

Quality doesnt have to be amazing but somewhat decent if looked after well.
Don't get on a high horse please. People have many reasons for not spending lavishly or large amounts on pieces of clothing, whether its priorities, situations etc. Speaking for myself, as a student it would be stupid to spend 300+ on a coat type I haven't owned before more so, knowing it would not be beneficial at all
