I wore the same pair of New Balance for like five years before I started giving a shit about how I dressed.

If you have at least 3 shoes that you can switch out with each other, clean your shoes (every month or so) then your shoes should last unless they are canvas or some shitty materials which I never fuck with.

I have adidas stan smiths I bought when I was 20 and I still have them 7 years later. They look like complete shit and the upper is peeling, but if I bought some CP or something with an actual leather insole and upper. It would probably last much longer.
