I wear them almost every day.

If you buy vivos be careful. Some of their shoes are the most comfortable you'll ever wear.
Some are shit.
I've got a pair of gobis that have a problem I hope will pass in time. The leather sort of folds to rub the top of your toes. After a day of walking you have had enough abrasion to make them red and even see a little bit of blood.

do Dr Martens mono 1462's count as minimal? because I wear them constantly

It depends entirely on how much you want to spend. Budget wise get a pair of Stan Smiths, something more pricier Common Projects. Lots of other brands fall between the two or go more expensive.

On a related note, though, vivo does make a cp-esque white sneaker.

I personally can't wait for the patent for kevlar soles that Vivo owns to run out so that other companies can take over and provide better designs and higher quality construction.

Barefoot shoes are great and I wear them often, but Vivo itself kinda sucks...
