post inspo, underrated brands, w2c, all that.

speaking of which, where can one get a biker jacket that is also is functional and not retarded-looking when zipped up/has actual pockets?
>>
low budget
>acne

high budget
>slp
>>
>>11124273
can't afford slp (god rest hedi's creative directing soul there)

and i think acne's gibson is ugly af. what do you like
>>
>>11124283
I hate the acne leather jacket but it's still the best one on a budget...
Fuck cheap clothes just save up for an slp one dude. You can easily wear it with a cheap tee, some thrifted jeans and a pair of converse or something.
Outerwear is the thing that lasts the longest so you should invest in quality

>>

Looks like shit.
>>
>>11124308
op here. i like it.
>>11124292
and yeah you're right, but since hedi is leaving, i think by the time i'd have that kind of money, i fear a jacket would be even more expensive than it is now.

i like rick's jackets a lot, too, and there are some i think are compatible with the aesthetic/surprisingly versatile, but i hate the blistered/beaten leather look

Bought for 20% of retail price, try to sell for profit or keep?
Wanted a rider but imo this one just looks ridiculous, the flaps were like 3x as big as they looked on the photos.
>>
>>11124368
what's with that weird rectangular patch thing behind the lapels
>>
>>11124361
looks ok

Just copped this one from Sandro. If your budget is reasonable (not over £1000) I'd definitely recommend giving them a look.
>>
>>11124430
Thanks I'll buy it then (first guy)
Hope zara leather isn't too bad

how come?

fuck if I know
>>
Just get faux leather. It's cheaper and no animals were killed. Looks the same and can hold up against water.
>>
Just ordered this falcon one.... did I fuck up?
>>
>>11124477
Yeah but where can I cop faux leather that looks real and matte and not super shiny? Its usually cheaper and better for the environment generally so I would probably get one if it looked real
Looking for a rider like the zara above
>>
>>11124447
Sandro and Acne both crop wayyyyy to short imho.

I bought one and it looked ridiculous so i dumped it on some grailed fuckboy
>>
>>11124539
Decent, w2c? Will this be better than zara
>>
>>11124545

Is it worth it, /fa/?
>>
>>11124604
I like it a lot, very washed though so some might dislike that. I'd wear it 10/10
>>
>>11124604

how the fuck does this work
>>
>>11124604
Seriously cropped. I couldn't pull that off @ 6'3"
>>
>>11124449
saw it at the store, seems decent for the price at least, go for it
>>
I got pic related, after looking through tons of jackets both online and in stores. Had a belstaff store nearby and tried it on. Was perfect since I looked for a sleek cafe racer without any crazy zippers and pockets like most jackets these days. Expensive af but worth it. Thick lamb leather, very nice quality and great slim cut. (these models in the pics are nearly always cake eaters, so they're not representative)

I would recommend to anyone: you HAVE TO try it on before. there's no other way to know if it fits you. with leather jackets, fit is the absolutely most important thing, especially around the shoulders. look for thick but soft leather and try to stay away from cheap jackets with 'polished' or 'corrected grain'.

also don't listen to these SLP/Rick homos like >>11124273
>>11124283
>>11124322
>>11124361
these niggas know shit about jackets and just the meme-train.

while it is true that you can't get a good quality leather under a certain price point, that point varies greatly between brands. quality and treatment of leather and cut of the jacket drives the price up. anything that costs over 1000 to 1500 is a rip off and you only pay for the brand name. but in all honestly a shitty pleather jacket that fits you well will look miles better than a high end jacket that looks like a soggy robe on your shoulders. my last tip would be: think long term. consider going for a clean style with a higher longevity style-wise, instead of some heroin-shooting rock star look with tons of diagonal zippers, pockets and sewn patterns. they may look good on pictures, but in reality these jackets will only embarrass you in public.
>>
>>11124259
I've had a really hard time finding a good quality shearling denim jacket like the OP and recommendations?
>>
>>11124604
Zara has one 90% similar to this for $150. It is basically a copy, same washed texture, design is very similar. Check it out. The leather was surprisingly nice for a $150 jacket.
>>
>>11124477
Faux leather won't last though, and the local biker gangs won't take you seriously.
>>
>>11124543
leather jackets are supposed to be cropped retard
>>
>>11124447
Ive had this same jacket for a little over a year, its so good.

>>11124539
sleeves look really weird

Glad you asked, was about to post about mine.
For the price you pay I have absolutely zero complaints, and I'm on a budget so this was really big for me.
I definitely recomend them, their customer service and care is amazing too.

>>
It struck me yesterday in London how many people were wearing leather jackets; from plebs to hipsters.
