How old are you OP? Most dudes can't get a decent beard up until 23+ I wouldn't sweat it and just stay clean shaven instead of half assing a shitty beard.

Not OP, i'm 23 and have been stuck at the same facial hair level (sparse, but not fluffy, moustache and goatee) for about 3 years now.

That isn't lame. I wanted one too so I tried growing mine out. Looked like shit and was uncomfortable for a good while and then suddenly started filling in. Now I have majestic face fuzz and life is p good. My wife likes it and wants me to wear flannel.
