I'm getting kind of sick of wearing jeans all the time. I have a few pairs of sweatpant joggers and one pair of chino joggers, but I want to diversify and get more texture into the bottom half of my fits. I understand that wool trousers are a decent idea, but I have no idea where to even look to get some outside of regular business slacks. Inspo, advice, and general discussion welcome. This thread is basically a pants general, but I'd like to see things outside the realm of skinny jeans.
starting off with a few general inspo pics
Khakis my friend.

having wool pants would be really uncomfortable and make your dick itch all day, i don't even wear wool sweaters for that reason
>>11042093
do you not wear underwear what the fuck
>>11042093
Depends on the wool for me. I had a pair of Jomers recently were excellent and didn't make my legs or nuts itch.
Otherwise I would suggest wearing compression tights underneath if it's cold enough.

>jomers
Tell me more desu. Link? Fits?
>>11042093
lol i wear wool/silk blend trousers and have never had an issue with them being itchy
make sure you get a good pair with lining, too
Where can I cop some wool trousers? How much should I be paying for them?
>>11042093
Wool pants are very soft. Just make sure they are 100% and if they are not, that they are not mixed with plastic crap.
I invite you to do the exrcise of going into any store and ask where they have their 100% wool suits.
>>11042155
Even H&M has them
>>11042216
>100% wool suits
>100% wool
Bbbaaaaaaa
>>11042221
>H&M
More like thin plastic trousers in this case

are wool trousers wearable in the summer or are they too hot?
>>11042990
What's so great about these pants that make them worth $138? Sounds shit to me.
Just wear fitted chinos you herb motherfuckers, just like all us old cunts.
>>11041862
w2c wool trousers similar to OP pic but looser and more straight-leg
>>11044699
Uniqlo
Biker jeans OP. Recently getting into them with the same situation of yours
>>11042922
I think he gets you. Hes just memeing.
>>11043134
Not all of them, but they do have 100% wool. They are expensive for H&M standards tho.
>>11042881
Orlebar Brown has those
I've been wearing some slim-tapered Dickies. More comfy that jeans but not as desk-jobby as chinos.
>>11041862
what brand are these?
>>11045294
are you retarded? use google image search
id on these pants?
jeans=pleb.
face it.
>>11042093
This is the result of wearing shitty quality wool pullovers as a kid. I didn't wear wool for a long while because I thought the same, but surprise surprise: pay a little more and no itch anymore.
>>11045383
are you that retarded
>>11045447
This. High quality wool, not to even mention cashmere, feels absolutely sublime.
The itchiness is only characteristic of very low quality, low price wool clothing.
>>11042922
>you fucking retard
If you are the one getting upset on a Malaysian sweatshop board, who is the real retard?
>>11045458
most of us buy sweatshop crap because we cant afford the high quality ethical stuff we drool over
its not that we dont want to, its the fact we cant, pretty much its the 1% who can buy clothes with no regard to pricing and only use quality as a purchase criteria
the rest of us have to make do with whats available on the crappy hourly wages available
What's wrong with his posture
Twill
corduroys?
>>11041862
Just bought those in the off white. Pretty hyped.
>>11042102
They are pretty competitively priced.
Here's the link for the anon who asked

I live in a dry and hot climate. Would cashmere blend or flannel be best for such an area?
>>11042990
those poor poor shoes
this breaks my heart
I bought a pair of brown wool trousers from j-crew but I'm not really sure what to wear with them...any ideas?
>>11047563
they look like shit lol
also dont buy crap you dont know how to wear
>>11047579
my camera is shit
also solid advice
>>11047545
oh no! He's walking in his shoes!
>>11042922
they're called cinches
its a design aspect, not a brand thing
its like asking where to buy pants with "this style pockets"
Can wool trousers be worn in the summer or will that be insanely hot?
>>11042881
they're call cinches. Uniqlo x Lemaire last season have them
>>11042093
unless you're buying shitty poly/wool blends or rough tweed it's not going to itch
and besides aren't you supposed to be wearing underwear
>>11047563
brown wool pants go well with other earthtone stuff if you want a softer look
brown leather shoes in a different shade, buttoned shirt in a contrasting color
alternatively you can go for white shirt and white converse
>>11048448
Depends on your summer, depends on the weight and weave of the wool. A hopsack or high-twist plain, open weave is really good if you get some wind, but if your summer is like 35 degrees you're not going to survive without cotton and linen.

Id on the shoes?
