I agree. I got a pair gifted to me recently and I wore them exactly once (to a friend's birthday). Everyone commented how they liked my shoes (although it was probably more of a "hey I don't expect you to wear these types of shoes/hey you're wearing shoes that I've never seen you wear before" type thing).

Sorta feel bad I don't wear them considering they were a gift; doesn't help that they're blue and don't go with anything else I own...
