Why luxury and expensive brands employ so ugly fucks as models?

Is this a new meme?
It's not so hard fuck. Look at Zara for god's sake
>Zara
their shit is really expensive, I agree

The industry wants aliens or something that's "unique". If you stand out and have a peculiar look, you become of interest. It's not always about how hot you look.

I was refering that Zara is a "chap" brand but they have good models

A friend of mine told me that Zara, that is a spaniard brand, is way more cheaper in Spain than in other countries. Is this true?

*cheap

I was under the assumption that if you had a unique looking person (that is, someone who isn't inherently beautiful) it draws attention toward the clothes and not the model's face
>>10981366
it's one of the biggest retailers in the world as of the last 5 years but the quality is shit compared to high-end American, Canadian, and Japanese clothes
damn even the English brands get a leg up over Zara

this is the most boring plain looking white boy ive ever seen in my life. but youre on /pol/ and r/european so that explains it

This "aryan" or typicall anglo/nordic look is not very common in Spain. Mediterranean europeans considere this look much more beautiful that typical brunette look. The same happens with nordic europeans towards mediterranean look.
r/european != r/europe
Look at the content. It's radically different. Is the only regular subreddit that I visit on a daily basis
