This is about one year of growth from the left picture to the right. Because the sides were short and top pretty long it grew really uneven (middle pic) and I had a haircut about three months ago to even everything out. Right was taken just now.

I used to have long hair and be all about it, but after looking at a series of men before and after, short hair looks objectively better. i think it can help your aesthetic because it adds a uniqueness to your identity, and also if you have really nice hair, it's adds to your image. more than likely though, you'd look way better with short hair. maybe not a buzz, but medium.

I've been thinking of cutting my hair short, but I have no fashion sense and have no clue what would look good on me. Any advice? Ideally it won't involve any more work than brushing it in the morning at max. I'd like it short because having it like this makes it a pain to brush and i'm pretty sure it looks awful on me.

On a side note any advice on taking a decent pic? I swear I look better in the mirror. I spent like 20 minutes trying to take a pic that didn't look like ass but no luck.

My hair is pretty straight and not particularly thick and I typically pat dry my hair after a shower, brush it, and then brush it before bed, I don't like to brush super often because I heard it's not good for ya and it also makes my hair look super shitty when it's dry sometimes.
