Not OP but how do I know if I'm starting to lapse into schizophrenia? It didn't hit me until somebody explained and showed me the webmd symptoms for beginning signs. Three months ago I had an edible laced with something (I'm not a drug user at all, it was completely accidental) and now I see flashes in my vision all the time along with occasional "breathing" patterns which cause me to zone out because I get lost trying to concentrate on the patterns. Ever so often I get the feeling of being watched because there is, or used to be before I started praying the rosary regularly, a demon in my hallway. Only reason I would know it was there is because I spend a lot more in time in my room now. Also, I've felt a lot more melancholy than usual and things I enjoy regularly like acting are not very much fun anymore. Can't even read anymore for periods of time because I zone out or think of something else while reading the text.

I'm not hearing voices though, so I don't think it's schizophrenia.

Crazy in what way? I'm not hearing voices. I'm fine. In fact it comes in waves with the patterns in vision thing (though I get the flashes of light and weird occasional seizures when I'm about to fall into slumber frequently, tested I'm not epileptic)

How about you live in the present n don't try to replicate a fucker from 40yrs ago - just an idea

i went through the same thing back when i fucked with acid/mushrooms. the drugs don't cause it they just bring it on. i used to see little "mice" and "birds" in my peripherals all the time. stop getting high and it will go away, it took about a year for me. keep an eye on shit though, like i said the psychedelics just exasperate they don't actually cause anything.

Last night I was sitting up in my room (not asleep) and I heard a voice say something I couldn't make out. It sounded like it was coming from a speech n spell, very robotic. It sounded for about 10 - 15 seconds. Odd.
