Different anon here. I am 5'11" too and it is supposed to be average in Germany, but in reality even half the girls are at least my height.
It really sucks, but I dont focus on it too much. I try to remind myself to at least worry about things that I can change about myself and not things that cant be changed since its a waste of time.

5'7 here. As long as you're confident your height shouldn't matter at all. I've had girls taller and shorter. Everything can be bad if you don't embrace it so just embrace your height, wear stuff that makes you look slimmer/taller and avoid oversized things, especially sweaters that cover your crotch area. Okay. So this discussion is freakishly widespread on appearance oriented boards like /fit/ and /fa/. A couple of thoughts from a person who had issues self esteem issues:

Fuck this. This constant pressuring and meme spreading is literally affecting peoples self awareness to the point that they start to wear insoles to increase their height. Stop that. Embrace your genetics or self loath yourself into oblivion but truth is that many people are not even aware of their actual height

Things like these would only matter if you would want to become a walkway model or go to a place where height is a necessary requirement. Either way none of the "taller" or "smaller" people are privileged to something just because of their height be it clothes, shoes, your romantic partner or what ever the fuck you want it to be.

If you're in Japan and appear to be 5'11 (or 6') you will be considered tall because the average height of the whole male population is 5'7. So do a google search and calm your insecure self down and check the average.
