Not haircut related, but hair general. Excuse the unwashed fresh-out-of-ponytail hair.

I have very dry hair. I use sulfate-free shampoo + conditioner (every other or every two days I use them, and I leave the conditioner in for 5-15 minutes), blow dry my hair with cool air and a diffuser, and recently I started to put Jamaican black castor oil in it overnight 1-2x a week. Sometimes I'll use a tiny tiny smidget of coconut oil to help style. I have a well-balanced diet and drink a lot of water. All this and still my hair is dry. It used to be a lot worse before I stopped using heat from blow drying on it though. Are there any further products I can try to help it?

tl;dr: I have dry hair and there are no diet or heat factors playing into it, pls help

Long hair in general doesn't suit me or just that style? If it's just that style, I know, it's just at the kind of awkward stage for growing it out, and was looking for suggestions for a cut when it's a better length.

If it's about having it long in general, I prefer longer because when I do short hair, I look like a weird dyke
