What watches do you like? Been looking at the G-Shock dw-5600.
Currently use a moto 360 sparingly. Don't think smartwacthes are for me.

Final Home ones are great too obv, but haven't really looked for one to buy. Imagine resell is probably hefty.

nice! very low-key tech. In the streets people would be forgiven for thinking you're a geography teacher, geologist or marine biologist or something, but you're definitely giving a techy future vibe successfully. what are the sneaks, y3?

Thanks for the opinions /fa/m.
Yeah they're Y3 Qr's. Only qualm with the model is the sole construction...hate how it curves out in the back. Other than that they're alright.
What do you guys think about how compatible my body is? Broad shoulders, relatively short v shaped torso (more square shaped desu), relatively long femurs and tapering calves. I think I've masked the shape of my body in this fit but with some slimmer fits it really shows
looking for a poor man's 3rd arm for commuting, cycling.
my old one is ripping at the seams of the shoulders, probably bc i occasionally load it p heavily.

thinking of a small monty
>>10946721
is there anywhere you can actually buy this thing anymore? i've wanted it for so long
>>10950408
As long as you are lean at least a bit athletic (which you are) tech works well. Short with broad shoulders work well with bomber jackets, and there are a lot of good bomber-like tech shells so you should be good.
>>10950443
For cycling I like backpacks more, in general backpacks are more ergonomic and less stylish. For day-to-day commuting I have a Deuter cycling backpack, for bigger loads I have a MW Rummy. Both are comfy and versatile.
>>10946808
hahahhahaha
>>10950818
I'm 5'11 and long legs. Every bomber I've worn makes my proportions look odd. Will post a shot with a jacket that goes down to my waist exactly when I get home.
Any suggestions for jackets? Thinking about going for some parka length jackets
>>10950496
Very unlikely. Trawl eBay, Y! auctions, Rakuten
>>10949353
Hows the QR runs in terms of quality and fit? Thinking of buying one
>>10951275
For sizing, definitely go .5 (US) down.
Quality wise, can't really say because I've had them only for a month and a half. Subtle signs of wear on soles and small creases in the leather but all in all very sturdy. I hear qasa soles wear down quickly and these seem similar to those
Thinking about copping a neoprene hoodie. I can get this at 40% off. http://www.simons.ca/simons/product/6772-580655/Sweatshirts+%26+Hoodies/Hooded+neoprene+sweatshirt?/en/
That doesn't look like actual neoprene. It's bonded poly I guess.

>>10950884
Im a 6'1 skelly and wear the arcteryx Zeta, which is the longest of their mainline shells. I also have an arcteryx Diplomat which I absolutely love (the fabric is just amazing) but it's almost too short.
Anyone got any experience with coats from Norwegian Rain?
>>10950408
I think tech can work for lots of body types. It looks good on tall but not ultra skelly mode people, semi athletic people, and I'd say one of the styles that genuinely suits shorter people. It seems to be working for you, but I'd use outerwear to play w the proportions a little, as currently the half zip is accentuating your chest and shoulders making it look more dad/bro-tier. So maybe some sort of slightly oversized anorak or bomber or a shell with a large hood or a big backpack to offset it.
>>10953280
No, never heard of them before. But their stuff looks great. Even more formal than veilance though.
>>10952702
Huh, do the hems really flair out like that, or is it because you didn't fully zip the hem?
>>10954045
Didn't zip em all the way down
>>10946808
>>10953477
Posting a pic of a jacket that I might ditch, sweats don't fit right either. I think the "dad/bro-tier" is more conspicuous with this one. Part of the reason is that my posture is semi-fucked up, which I'm fixing. It's like most of my weight is carried around the mid-section and hips, probably the worst body type for most fits.
Should I ditch?
>>10953262
Once I save up I'll drop some cash on a high end brand like Arc. I notice they tend to market towards a more general body shape rather than the skinny/lean person (although in fit pics they tend to look best on this type of person). Do you think their jackets would suit my body well?
>>10954435
The main difference of their shells is length. The alpha/beta jackets are the shortest, best for more compact body types, while the Theta and Zeta are the longest.
The lifestyle jackets, as I said, are not terribly long. Take a look at the measurements and fit descriptions at their site. Of course, putting them on in a shop is always best.
I'm looking for a jacket with a snorkel hood like this. What brand is this, or which ones are similar?
It rains 75% of the year where I live and I have a long neck and head, so I need a huge hood.
>>10955339
Any high end tech jacket offers a hood that deflects rain. Arc'teryx comes to mind

i've been seeing drastic improvements on skin quality, and pih has gotten dramatically better. i'm almost there, boys.
question: should i moisturize at night as well? if so, what sequence?
>>10956882
kek sorry boys, wrong thread
>>10956882
wrong thread but moisturize twice a day the least. do it as the last part of the routine. also id recommend maybe some benzoyl peroxide or vitamin c serums at night (esp vitamin c)
>>10956882
>10956882
cetaphil has sodium laurel sulphate, get a non-soap cleanser that isnt petroleum based
>>10956148
You know, there are people who live in places where it rains/snows for the majority of the year. People tend to like staying dry/warm.
