How do you justify your spending habits?

It's a work expense.
Maslow Hierarchy
>>10926600
to be better than others obviously
>>10926600
because prostituting would be pointless desu
>Be Me
>Don't care for effay/designer shit at the time
>Buy brand jacket that cost 400+
>First ever 'expensive' jacket
>Wear it almost everyday as a winter coat
>Get a few compliments
>cool
>Walk into store
>Guy notices it
>Asks me about it; loves it
>Comes close to me
>Closely inspects
>"Haha nice man!"
>Leave
>Weird...
>yadada blah blah
>Jacket was fake I later discover
I don't know how I justify it anymore

It improves my self-esteem. Money well spent I'd say.
>>10926600
Self-esteem, pricier clothing typically lasts longer
Just like any hobby, clothing is justified because it fulfills a person's interests
I go thrift shopping. You guys actually buy expensive clothes?
>>10928561
It gives me a sense of belonging.
i don't, i just feel bad
To whom would I need to justify my spending habits?
I really don't.
I spend too much on clothes. My closet is full and I have clothes on dresser stacked up.
I have a habit of hoarding desu
>This will make me happy
Temporarily happy until I find new thing I want to buy within the next few days
I have no idea what it is about wearing a $900 leather jacket that feels so good but it does and I love it.
I just buy. I don't have to justify anything. If my mate says something like "nice jacket ya twat, how much did you spend on that?" I'd tell him it's none of his god damn business and go on with my life. To whom do you have to justify it to OP?
>>10926600
Why should I justify myself ? Bitch I look fabulous an I have money to throw away, get over it
>>10928763
You can't find everything in thrift shops, especially when you're thin and want a slim fit. And you can't even find everything on Grailed when you begin to like some lesser known designers. On top of that, some people just know what they want, don't want anything else and don't have the patience to wait for providential bargains
>>10928864
>it's none of his god damn business
why so aggressive though
>>10928925
It's more lighthearted than it sounds here of course.
>>10926600
I dont spend money on anything outside food and clothes.
>>10926600
By not spending all the time. I'll have a piece in mind that I want to buy, I'll search for one, buy it, and repeat the cycle in a couple month or so
