Hey guys, what do you think about my new jacket? Got it for only 150 euros!
Also, post your winter jackets.
Ugly colour
Any recs that aren't too puffy?
>>10889634
Everything that is puffy is hideous.
I have this one
Too bad temperatures are already going above 12~13°
>>10889644
netherlands?

Southwestern France
>>10889644
How come this looks so...fat when compared to the one in OP?
>>10889667
The one in the op was photographed on a mannequin (notice the curvature of the chest and the arms), while the one I posted is laid flat
w2c an actual coat that can get me through -15C and doesn't look like plastic.
wouldn't mind a bit of tacticool if there are some velcro pads on the side for patches
Everywhere I look I keep seeing Canada goose jackets
That little red patch is this seasons trendy look-what-I-can-afford batsignal
What do you think of Canada goose jackets

The parkas look good and are warm. The main downside is that you won't be a special snowflake. The price is actually pretty much baseline for such a parka made in the first world, if that matters to you.
Do not buy any of their other stuff. It's just brand whoring outside of parkas ad maybe snow pants.
>>10890925
every girl in my city looks like this right now
>>10890931
Not unique, but she looks good.

>toronto in a nutshell
Have the same Parajumpers jacket as this one. No, I did not copy Bradley Cooper
>>10889641
this desu
unless you're some OG nigger
>>10890925
Baseline? 800 euros is baseline for parkas, really? I checked out the regular price for the parka in op, seems to be about 200 euros. How do they justify the 600 euros price difference?
>>10890809
I think the company has pretty shady operating methods

Fur is a tough one for me. On the one hand, I hunt a lot and use wild meat and fire for things all the time, so I know that killing things always causes some suffering and have made peace with that, but trapping is so hands-off and the way an animal can suffer for so long really bugs me. Though about getting into it once, but I realized it would ruin hunting for me since I'd have to give up the pretense of making kills as clean as possible.
On the other, nobody has never come forward with a functionally equivalent fur substitute. Fur, especially of animals adapted to extreme cold climates, does have unique properties that would be a challenge to engineer into a synthetic material.
I guess it comes down to how much you value the extra functionality and how wrong you feel the trapping is. I personally don't think that trapping is bad on any other than an aesthetic level, so fur stays.
>>10890809
the jackets generally look good and are INCREDIBLY warm
downside is you won't be a special snowflake and they have very very unethical means of production, it uses real coyote fur and plucked goose feather
>>10892696
Yeah, hunting is alright in my books, but trapping really isn't.
>>10892798
They don't use live plucking. Not relevant to ethics, but I heard that the down is from ducks.
>>10892913
Its a hard line to draw because a lot of Canadian ranchers do stuff like indiscriminate poisoning and trapping to reduce coyote populations (coyote do horrifying things to lambs and calves). The way trapping is done for market might be a preferable alternative to that because at least it's out in the open and regulated, plus the trappers won't be trying to completely exterminate the coyotes if there's a market for the fur.
W2c good quality parka preferably in London.? Any good ones on sale, really need to replace mine.
I have this 6 pound Akademiks jacket, fur lined all the way even down the arms and the hood. Got it for $20 about a decade ago. It's the warmest thing I have ever owned.
Any id this parka?
>>10893328
I'll buy it for 100

My buddy has the camo one, i like the quality of the fur and his specific one is beautiful but besides his i have no interest in them because its a trend. Trends disgust me, i'm form the Bronx, New York if that helps anything.
>pic completely related
