has anyone here had lasik/eye surgery?
are glasses effay?
I wasn't eligible for Lasik bc my corneas were too thin, but got PRK instead (what they did before lasik). It was a week of intense itchiness, but worth every second! Vision is absolutely perfect!
My brother and father both got lasik and have no regrets. Perfect vision all around. My only recommendation is go to the best lasik doctor around -- don't skimp when investing on your eyes. A great doctor and the best technology go a long way

did it take months for your vision to become good?
i want lasik very badly but im a poorfag with student loans currently attending uni and trying to get into a field thats not hiring and doesnt pay well so im probably doomed to wear shitty glasses for the next 15 years until i hang myself cold and alone and bitter at the world for being a truly debilitating failure at everything ive tried my hand at
real talk glasses suck fat dick and i sometimes want to scoop my eyes out with a spoon while im eating cereal but it sounds like it would hurt so i havent done it yet

What about the "Bionic lens"? They say it will give you better than 20/20 vision for the rest of your life and fix astigmatism. Apparently if it passes testing it will become available in 2017 and the procedure only takes 10 minutes. As long as you are ok with your natural lens being replaced...
A bunch of eye augmentations/implants are going to become options in the next 8 years, don't worry OP. We will all probably have perfect vision by the end of our lives, even poorfags.
NOT getting Lasik done now might be smarter. I was talking to my optician about Lasik before and he told me many who get it end up with shit eyesight again eventually. Might as well wait for more options to become available, if nothing else it will bring down the cost.
