Australia here,
I'm going to British Columbia and I need to get some apres-ski clothes.
Now I'm going to be honest; I have no idea how to dress warm simply because I've never had to.
I've done some googling and it's all pretty confusing; especially with the boots..
Do blokes actually wear those shin-high boots with fur around the top?
Honestly, I'm in way over my head.

Hey I have lived in BC for 25 years. Got my first boots last summer just for aesthetic reasons. If youre living at a ski hill that isnt whistler you might want some boots that are 6inches otherwise not needed. Long pants/jeans should be good enough. Layer! get some sweaters and an insulated jacket that has a waterproof rating if ur skiing or boardin. http://www.myairblaster.com/products/good-times-2-in-1-jacket im rocking this jacket as it can be worn out and on the slopes pretty warm and the hoodie is nice too would recommend. Get a couple toques from army and navy for $2. Its not that confusing man.
