Not exactly, Male fashion is pure consumerist impressionism in it's attempts at satisfying an overdone and poorly executed aesthetic
Meanwhile female fashion (as noted by many designers) is truly a much more interesting and fascinating form of art that can truly runway-esque concepts that qualify it as fastly changing as it diviersifies largely from the poorly recycled attempts of male fashion

However, it is a fact that male designers overwhelm the industry in both male and female fashion and are, depending whether you find the winning of awards and their success to be of any value, also better
