Kinda. Documentaries on the topic are fucking fascinating - there's a sense that the women demand a lot in terms of certain requirements (e.g. stability) but toss others out the window (age).

The first one is probably the best, it's both comprehensive and has some nightmarish shit go on (watch the bride's face when she sees the Las Vegas guy's apartment)

The context: the documentaries cover the Russian "mail order bride" scene. They do a pretty good job of making it clear that the American suitors are usually leagues worse than the Russian women, though there's clearly an exploitative attitude from both. They also touch - albeit very briefly - on the issues that lead women into going on mail order bride websites.

Also the girls at the mail order bride parties in Russia are unfairly hot, it's kinda weird.
