like others have said it looks depression, not in a cool way but like... you'd expect to find a dead body from OD/hanging in there.

Floor looks like an 80s hospital, fan is cheap, walls are a sickly off-white/cream, using blinds in the window etc. It just looks very poor. A rug, raised bed, couple wall shelves, raw linen sheets, bedside table, metal fan etc would go a long way.

Currently its like a homeless shelter that had its furniture stolen except the mattress and someone needed to hang their clothes so they bought a $10 rack from ikea,

Raise the bed, put it in the other corner (where your clothes are at). Get a nightstand next to it (Maybe the thing your mac is lying on?). Get a cozy lamp or something on your wall. I don't know your budget.

You're not very good at taking photos, are you? Get some new curtains (Without pattern, something, white/light blue?). Put the manuals under your bed. Get a new chair (pc chairs aren't very aesthetic). Get new sheets(see curtains). Floor is shit too, but I assume you're a student.

raise the bed, put a few small pieces of art on the walls.

get a small desk that is either low enough to the floor that u don't need a chair or a regular desk. either would work.

It's the landlord's. Also need to leave the 15th of Januari so I'll be switching rooms soon
