Are they STF 501? Really special if they are

not completely related, but I got a pair of the 501 custom taper "Rigid" jeans. I don't know what the rigid means, is that like raw denim? should i wash them or not

Rigid means haven't been washed, zero fading when you buy. They will shrink like 1-3% just like your average t shirt but not like the shrink to fit line, which will shrink 10-15%.
