yeah man you have a sweet beard, definitely jelly. i get the predicament you are in, i was in the same situation a few years back and ended up just cutting. sucks because its a huge commitment to grow out your hair and you have to wait that year of shitty transition period before it starts to look decent long. youll definitely get laid more with short hair though

how the fuck am I meant to style my hair with minoxidil applications

i just ordered some for preventive action since i feel like it's time but i have no idea how i'm going to apply that shit without killing my volume/shape or whatever since it needs to dry in the scalp every morning

do i gotta say goodbye to shit like volume mousse and my sea salt spray? how do I not lose volume leaving my dry hair still for like an hour before i can style it?

1) Stop washing your hair so often, and start conditioning it more often. Your hair looks all dry and frizzy because of shampooing too often.

2) Comb your hair only in the shower, with conditioner in. Do not comb your hair after you rinse the conditioner out, or after you get out of the shower, or after your hair dries. Shake your head violently when you get out of the shower, like a dog does when wet. This will give you naturally defined curls instead of frizz. Combing hair when it's dried or drying removes curls and replaces them with frizz (at least in the case of your own hair type).

3) Part your hair closer to the middle of your head. It looks unnatural how you've brought the hair from the side of your head over the top of your head.

4) Get rid of the hair on your chin. It's weak and looks like something a teenager would grow to show off that they've gone through puberty. Facial hair should be significant and hearty or else non-existent.
