Actual answer: what fits you well. Too tight is never appropriate in the context of dress pants - every time I see it, it looks goddamn ridiculous. Of course, as people on here know, too baggy also looks bad.

Dress pants - particularly suit pants - should more or less fit like a straight fit pair of pants with a minimal but noticeable amount of extra fabric.
