are bowties ever acceptable for formalwear, /fa/?
also formalwear general i guess
>>10671444
Of course they're acceptable, if the dress code is black or white tie. That abomination that Obama's wearing is not.
>>10671444
Bowties are fine with most any suit, just not THAT kind. Way too wide, and you never want a 'big' pattern. Try something like pic related
>>10671444
>are bowties ever acceptable for formalwear
nigga what are u talkin about
>>10673076
why do you think the obama senpai always straighten their hair? Is it to seem more appealing to white america?
>>10671444
Looks like a clip-on. Obama in general is a "how not to dress" icon.
>>10673076
Do you think she copped the Yeezy collection? Are those black CPs?
>>10673472
They honestly look like black mono converse.
>>10673477
You're right, I just didn't look close enough
>>10671444
I wish cringe thread all-stars would stop advocating bow ties as /fa/. They suck. The one exception is black bow, black suit/tux. But even that sucks compared to a black tie
>>10673468
Well he is a dad
>>10673468
more like 70% of u faggots are a how not to dress icon, post a fit and prove me wrong faggot.
I have so many damn bowties, I prefer them over ties desu.
>>10673322
its more appealing to everyone
niggers hate their hair - why do you think they do weave and shit
>>10671444
Formalwear? Like white tie and morning dress yes you Sap it is part of the most formal attire Black and white tie otherwise they should be approched with caution.
>First and only rule of bow ties
Are you wearing a tux? No? Then dont wear a bow tie.
>>10675192
What in the fucking world is that suit with the american flag, what is going on with those lapels?????
>>10671686
I think you meant to say:
That Obamanation that Obama's wearing is not in this Obama nation."
I'm a noob in need help of help, /fa/.
I'm going to my best friend's son baptism and I don't know what to wear. I'm not going to wear a black suit because it's considered inappropriate to wear black in a church for anything but funerals (at least here in Italy). The ceremony is at 5 pm though, and there's going to be a dinner afterwards, so maybe I should still go with a dark color? Can I go with a mismatched outfit? Also, tie or no tie?
>>10671444
Never heard of tuxedo or dinner jacket. Please leave and never come back.
>>10672157
Doctor Who bow tie detected.
>>10671686
>not seeing it's photoshopped
o boy am i laffin. literally poking out of the bottom of the "bowtie"
>>10675192
Bowties are very very very fucking cringy, and judging by the color of the pants you have hung up, you probably don't care about looking like disgusting frat-core.
Oddly enough, though, I do like the lapels on that jacket.
