Newfag to /fa/, how are you meant to wear the classic timberland boots? To me having your jeans//trousers/whatever tucked into them just doesn't look right....
also if anyone has good recommendations for boots to survive UK winters (basically cold, wet and miserable) I'm open to some suggestions
wolverine>timberland

B)))
>>10632085
I recommend you get some insulated boots with a lug sole, man
I would get a pair of insulated Danners if I lived in a colder climate, t_bh
they aren't pretty but they're well designed and you won't slip on ice or get your feet wet
>>10632085
Any boot should do, honestly, as long as you waterproof them. I don't think UK winters are too bad, but a lugged rubber sole is a plus since it helps with ice and keeps your feet further from the cold ground. Just go with something that matches your wardrobe.
Just wear regular boots. It's not like you have to walk everywhere, it's the 21st century.
>>10632111
i do walk long distances thou
I used to wear Wolverine 1000 Miles.
Then I decided it wasn't for me & switched to Red Wing Iron Rangers.
Then I decided neither looked right.
Now I just wear out of production Wolverine Claptons.
I just wore these the past two winters, surprisingly few slips. (I live in Canada)

Seconding Danners. I copped a pair of Ridgemasters last year. Not the most beautiful boot but I needed something solid for these midwestern winters. The quality is impeccable, these boots will last over a decade.
Just dumping some random boots :)

Just fucking wear your shoes.

>>10635916

what are the best waterproof boots for under $150
Got these earlier this year summer and have only gotten to wear a couple times. Timberland tremont 6" dark brown. Not sure if they still make them or not. They're a really dark, muted brown leather color and the sole doesn't look so hideous/obvious irl.
Thoughts? Would they be okay to wear to a white collar job in the northeast during the winter time?
>>10636067
>>10632107
I can actually get 50% off of Danners from my work. Any specific style you would recommend besides Ridgemaster?
>>10637019

Acadia 200G or 400G (depending on how much insulation you need)
