post winter shoe inspo, brands and fits
Newfag to /fa/, how are you meant to wear the classic timberland boots? To me having your jeans//trousers/whatever tucked into them just doesn't look right....
also if anyone has good recommendations for boots to survive UK winters (basically cold, wet and miserable) I'm open to some suggestions
I recommend you get some insulated boots with a lug sole, man
I would get a pair of insulated Danners if I lived in a colder climate, t_bh
they aren't pretty but they're well designed and you won't slip on ice or get your feet wet
Any boot should do, honestly, as long as you waterproof them. I don't think UK winters are too bad, but a lugged rubber sole is a plus since it helps with ice and keeps your feet further from the cold ground. Just go with something that matches your wardrobe.
I used to wear Wolverine 1000 Miles.
Then I decided it wasn't for me & switched to Red Wing Iron Rangers.
Then I decided neither looked right.
Now I just wear out of production Wolverine Claptons.
I just wore these the past two winters, surprisingly few slips. (I live in Canada)
I never liked Timberland.
These are much nicer.
Cop or not?
Please recommend cheap boots like this but where the front split isn't so long
Seconding Danners. I copped a pair of Ridgemasters last year. Not the most beautiful boot but I needed something solid for these midwestern winters. The quality is impeccable, these boots will last over a decade.
or neither. I'm looking for a good winter boot thats also reasonably stylish. I wear a lot of navy and grey.
>When she wears Tims
Got these earlier this year summer and have only gotten to wear a couple times. Timberland tremont 6" dark brown. Not sure if they still make them or not. They're a really dark, muted brown leather color and the sole doesn't look so hideous/obvious irl.
Thoughts? Would they be okay to wear to a white collar job in the northeast during the winter time?
there's a law enforcement boot that looks extremely solid, dude
Acadia 200G or 400G (depending on how much insulation you need)
They're pretty affordable for a poor fag like me
>not nubuck black
fucks sake would have copped otherwise
these for the most part. i have taller boots just in case there's actually a lot of snow, but these are good the majority of the time.
>finally get to wear these again
between these two. leaning towards the bigger.
try buying a made in Ameriland or Dominican Republic one,Chinese Timbs have inappropriately creasy shoe tongue
copd these for like 35 dollars. Not sure how I feel about them yet. They are made in china timbs.
But these Redwing x Nigel Cabourn boots are even better imo, can't find them anywhere though.
Any other WW1 inspired boots?
asked this before but i want some more opinions. left or right? left is black, right is navy
also, can somebody iD these shoes? search all last winter and couldn't come up with anything
