>>10621492

God damn wrong person

I almost got a navy vest to go with....is that too much, and if i do roll with that is it better to get a bow tie? Never worn one before and i dont know how to feel about it but i think it would make it look less bulky
>>10621492
Should've gone for something like this instead, OP. Light blue shirt instead of navy would've been better, though.
I'm sorry, but that beige/red combo just looks horrible, especially if you're not 67+ years old and the party is your retirement party.

I know thats a shitty ass picture..but cmon guy thats like an olive green not a beige. I dont think theres anything that shouts old man about my outfit, all though i did dress my younger assistant in the outfit you suggested.
>>10621664
Olive/beige, same thing.
Really though, I'm just not feeling it. At all. Had you bought an olive jacket in a fabric like pic related, I'd have cummed buckets and begged to be your assistant.
>>10621682
Not him but fr Ican't take anyone seriously who thinks beige=olive. Kys my man
>>10621682
Also, don't wear a bow tie. Don't wear a tie either.
Just wear your blazer with a shirt with the top two buttons unbuttoned.

My man

If no tie, how about the vest

The blazer-shirt combo isn't bad if you want to look like Elvis Costello. And that isn't me trying to be a fuck. If that's the look you want, go for it. If not, try something else. I think it's fine as is, provided you don't over do the Buddy Holly glasses, lumbersexual overplayed staples of 2007's twentysomethings.
Can I borrow this thread? I'm kind of in the same situation as the OP (holiday party for the entire shopping mall that I work at, also don't know shit about fashion) except I don't need to look especially nice, just decent. Last year I went with a suit and I felt it was too much, so I'd like to just look casual but in a nice and kind of plain way, I guess. Pic related is what I'm going for, hoping that's good enough.
There's two things I'm wondering about it. One, would it be okay if I wore dark gray jeans or would that ruin it? Cause right now basically the only jeans I have are dark gray and pale blue. I could buy a pair but I'm really low on money at the moment so it'd only be if it's crucial. The other thing is, I noticed the shirt under the sweater matches the jeans, would I be fucking it up if I wore a different kind of shirt? I don't really have any denim shirts and as mentioned no money so I'm pretty limited on what I can get, but if it's belts and shoes levels of having to match (I don't really understand this but I've accepted it anyway) then I can probably make the sacrifice.

Sounds about right

Idk, to me it seems like a suitable outfit for a holiday party, especially the red, and the brown/olive for general cozy winter aesthetics. Would help if you could take a whole fit pic, or one without ass lighting.
