the gun is a removable pin that can be put on clothes easily, the hat is more of a medium. Any critique? The whole site (and concept) are still experimental
>>
Dude cool concept. Personally I would rather put the pins on a jacket or something. I could see a lot of people fucking with this though.

tough call. just selling pins = smaller investment, more user agency/creativity, which would help it spread. but smaller profit, and easy idea to rip off.

if you're trying to use this as a springboard to launch a brand and get the name out there? i'd do both. limit the hats to 100 or something, and sell the pins. mostly sell pins.

can't trademark the gun pin though. unless you register the guns as logos. in fact, may want to check to see if the ones you're using are trademarked or not. for example, glock would sue the shit out of you if you sold a mini 3d replica. you'd have to license it.

anyway. i think the gold AK looks fresh. the black is boring and looks like something you pulled out off an action figure.

figure out a way to make them in things like mother of pearl or abalone. the contrast between form and finish is what makes it interesting.

Is this for fun or do you plan on expanding?

I could see people liking the hat/pin combo it just isn't for me. Selling just the pin could definitely be cool because it allows the person to use it for anything. I personally wouldn't drop over 20 for a plain cap with a pin that can just be removed...but at the same time I love how it looks on the hat aesthetically. Idk man, it's whatever you think works!

i like your thinking. at this early a stage i'm legally untouchable (i've made sure). i had an idea where i could sell 3 hats and one pin or 3 pins and one hat for $30 and still keep margins at 70%
>>10612957
i'm expanding as we speak! our campaign is starting in 72 hours and if you want to buy a cap for 20 dollars you can cop "corn flakes" lol

you may not have to go to jail, but they could take control of your website and legal ownership the brand you're trying to build. but if you're not worried, that's fine.

don't think the pop-art direction (pins of common commercial products) is a terribly promising.

by the way, the gold gun thing was done pretty heavily like 7 years ago. gun lamps, gun necklaces (a lot of common objects were being made into metal jewelry then: teeth, retainers, guns, etc. but they were mostly sold to girls. your target audience is probably dudes) making common objects out of wood is/was also a popular thing. damian hirst covered a skull in diamonds (or swarovski crystals, i forget). anyway, i think pushing for a new materials/finishes is the way to go.

So you ripped off SSUR by ripping off Coogi, basically what they were doing twenty years ago

i think that is the way to go and the one of one community art is made by kids or is meant to be novel and chuckle worthy not so much a staple
>>10613008
elaborate on the SSUR? as for coogi, coogi is a huge inspiration, i actually grew up in daymond john's neighborhhod

Streetwear brand that purposefully ripped off other brands
If you're from nyc then it shouldn't be a mystery to you they're probably the biggest streetwear label of the nineties

oh nah i'm not doing that not even close. i'm aiming for more original designs. the entire concept of fools is meant to parody fashion and the world's ideas in a more tasteful manner, while also helping children and the needy. it's a combination of a lot forms of creativity, but we're not restricted. i might be going to bed soon but i'll be posting and updating here on /fa/ nearly every day
