I went to the Rick store in LA yesterday, shit was heaven. The associates were so nice and the store itself was beautiful, they brought me so much stuff to try on. This jacket was crazy, the scarf thing attached to the shoulder is kind of hard to see but it was so beautiful.

You can dye it. I've never tried with blistered leather. There a varying degrees to the blistered leathers he's produced. Some of the softer lamb ones from a collection like Island might be much hard to work with.

I went true to size on my Dunks and wonder if that was a mistake. I also heard Ramones are sized differently.

Ramones fit more TTS than geos/dunks in my opinion. With highs, I could afford to do a 43 although a 43.5 would have been perfect. With lows, I need a 44.
I'm a true US10.5, but I have fucked up high arches.

That being said, the sock Ramones this season just aren't as difficult to find as they were the last two. I only ever saw them in the Rick NY store. Man, I've had such a difficult time. I took mine to Choi's Shoe Repair in West Seattle. He was quick and affordable. Did a decent job, but he's also not the most subtle, for lack of a more descriptive word. I've yet to find a great cobbler in Seattle.
Girlfriend used Broadway shoe repair to success, but nothing crazy (just caps). I had some more extensive work done by Johnny's in Ballard, my experience was great but I've heard terrible things from other people. I met a guy recently (I believe he's a SZ user) who ships his shoes to a cobbler in SF.

I've been to Broadway shoe repair. They do good work, but the prices are ridiculous. They're in a high traffic location on the hill though so they can charge a lot and most people will pay.

Right now I use Angel's shoe repair on 15th Ave East. His family has had the business for over 100 years and he definitely knows his shit. He's repaired a lot of my soles and heels rather than replacing them, which is significantly cheaper. So far I've only taken work boots to him though.

Well unstable, by its nature, is not gonna hold up as well as other fabrics. I'm guessing the bamboo is probably the most durable. All of them should be mad comfy, so I wouldn't worry about that.

I was at the LA store this weekend hand handled that jumpsuit. It was the softest cashmere I've ever felt. It's probably because of the fat fluffy cables.

The woman who helped me out suggested I try on a pair of Memphis jeans and I liked them way more than I had expected. Didn't Rick say in some interview that he wanted to make a fanny pack cool? That felt like the impetus behind the front piece.

Feet are complex. I have high arches so that makes sizing very strict for me. That being said, I'm a true 10.5, I always wear between a 43 and 44. With geos a 43 is good. Ramones, a 43.5 is perfect but hard to find. All my Ramones are 43, and my toes top out a bit.

It's an issue of what people believe their true sizing is, as well. Men - particular in America - believe they wear much larger sizing in clothing than they actually do. This is the male equivalent of vanity sizing.
