I live in the UK though, so there's not really much selection. At the moment, the only hair oil brands I can find at the shops are Vatika and Palmer's with their Olive Oil and Coconut Oil. UK anon here, I use Vatika (olive oil, black seed, coconut,cactus and garlic- you can actually buy them all tesco where I live). I have no complaints about them quality wise and use the olive oil and garlic as a hot oil treatment. The coconut is especially good if you have fine hair.

I need help.
A while back (about a month) I used a textureizer on my hair that was about half an inch long. O course it didn't like that and after it wore off my hair started to shed and was dry as a motherfucker. mostly because of my undernourishment. But it's been a month and it's a little better although not much. the main problem is it's not growing much.
So will my hair keep growing in the style of the chemicals or when will it go back to normal.

Which is better?

I have a short afro right now, probably 4 inches and I look awful and unapproachable

I also have massive bald spots because my hair was so difficult to manage that my mother burned my scalp at a young age to straighten it

I feel the answer should be obvious, but my hair can cover the bald spots when its long enough, but i guess keeping it natural is healthier and not so expensive to maintain, it's just really terrible looking and the bald spots are hard to hide and it's really difficult to comb because it's so fragile and dry and i cant afford moisturizers right now

But I already struggle with looks, so i might as well go for whatever looks like the lesser terror.

Any opinions?
