just bought a pair of derby's need some inspo. What are some go to clothes to pair these with? I was thinking, black trench, 1 colour crew and grey wool trousers.
more doc martens mono's
monitoring thread. bought redwing postmans recently and realized i don't really have great fits to put together with them.
should i cop postmans or all black 1461s?
or other options <250-300

I got my derby's from Frank and Oak store in Toronto for $150. I tried on CP derby shines the same day and the frank and oak ones were far better fitting and looked less clowny on me.
I personally dont like the 1461 sole that much, but they can look good. postmans could work as well.

also check endclothing, they have a lot of nice derby's.

I agree with other anon about the doc's soles. They're just too clunky.

do the f+oak ones fit tts? i'm considering just pulling the trigger on them online because they're so cheap
interesting that you say CPs look clowny, i was on the verge of copping the other day because someone had a pair on grailed for 250, opted out because i'd never even seen them irl so thanks for affirming my decision :)))

I'm usually a 9-9.5 in adidas/nike and other brands. I bought the F+O ones in 8 (41). i tried the 7's and 9's but the 9's looked clowny and 7's were too tight. Def size down at least 1 size
i could see these theo fits working with derby shoes

nope, derbies are not casual enough, esp. in black.

maybe more with the leather finish. would be casual if they were matte.
