I'm not an expert, but there might be some mods to change the size of items in-game. Look around in the Mod Catalog.
As for the recolor, you might have to use a decompiler to unpack the model file, and edit the textures with gimp or photoshop.
Try to use the search function on hongfire too, there were discussions about these, I'm sure.

So I've just started using MMD and been messing around to get a feel of how to work it and have watched multiple video tutorials on it but I have been having trouble with the model's legs not wanting to move in and direction or it will just have a seizure and go flying off. I downloaded the version suggested in the pastebin OP but now i realize that version has an update called XPR3 while the last update released is called XPR5... Does anyone know what's the difference?

How do I make clothes have physics so they can be kicked around on stage by the model?

I'm having a problem where my model is suddenly spinning around slowly or starts to slide off after I tried to adjust it to fit right with other models. Anybody know why? Still new to the program and slowly learning but this is something I couldn't find anything on.

reload the motion, select all bones and do it again. if it still moves you're doing something wrong.
all models by default are in the middle, if a motion moves the center or groove bones, you need to adjust the entire motion to make it not slide. center bias moves the models centre elsewhere making this more easy to change position.

obviously it doesn't happen in TDCG itself, and yes i think it happens in TDCGExplorer too cause the screen is all black there too (i thought it was normal) i tried doing what you said and nothing changed

anyway i discovered two things about this bug

1) it seems to happen only if the character has a body, so if i make a character with the no body mod i can still see the clothes normaly
2) when i tried to downgrade the game to a previous version, the bug slightly changed a little and i could actualy see the legs in the blob

i should try downloading the game again and try to see what happens with the completly base version, maybe the bug happens because of a patch or something like that

Hair physics and basic morphs are done. Just need to resolve the clipping and work on the head/body connection.

I am uploading a beta version of the morphable body I am developing. I would like to hear feedback on it. The more feedback the better. Good or negative. Come out of the shadows lurkers!

To use it:
Open it on PMX editor and play around with the morphs in the transform view. Once you get a desirable shape, click on file and then "in the form of current save". This will let you save a new PMX with a new body shape.

Always normalize the normals in the new saved body. You may have to reposition some bones if you use the morphs with a (B) on the name.

I'll mess around with this later, but just looking at the previews I'd recommend referencing some titties. The nipples should be positioned a bit lower. Actual breasts have the tips point down when they're too heavy, though you can still keep them perky without being too high up. They also seem a bit disproportionate; the smallest and biggest sizes have pretty big nipples while the middle two look fine.

I'm being a bit pedantic because otherwise it's great, but I'd want the breasts to look as good as possible.

I'm stumped..

Whenever I render to .avi I get to the 2160 frame and it freezes. No matter how many or how little effects I have, no matter the models, stages, motions, wavs, etc. It always freezes at this frame and I have to force quit.

The only effect I used was auto luminous just to test this, so yes I know it looks really bland.

Not sure how to go about fixing this. I just built a brand new pc that has more than enough power and space to run and render MMD

i found those types of morphs a pretty nifty idea, using both positive and negative numbers in either pmxeditor's transform view or mmd could lead to different body bases for edits.

To get rid of black screen: go into view(V) then select separate window (W) . But without directX on newer mmd versions you wont be able to render.

But if you're really devoted to linux only, try using blender with the "blender_mmd_tools-dev_test" addon so you can load models. There's probably more you would need to load motions and stuff --if they exist.
Theres also Qemu+KVM+IOMMU+VTd (etc) if your hardware supports it, and you have a spare graphics card
