Old Version's gi-normous forehead, once seen, could not be un-seen :(

Old Version has hair falling all over her ears, which always annoyed me. New Version without the hair and the forehead has a much wider-looking face. I tried to adjust the cheeks a bit on this image, maybe that helps.

Natalie has always supposed to have had a huge nose. Never have been able to get it right.

Just some other guy here, I totally love the new look. I'd even go so far to say she has come "alive", like she has gotten something like an actual "personality" now.

Those freckles and the more reddish and bigger nose seem to do quite much of it?

As for Stephanie, I'd definitely try giving her less "obtrusive" hair outlines (I'd try some chocolate brown first probably, and then work on from there, possibly going even brighter ...).
Nipple color is kinda weird. Should be a much more pinkish/fleshy tone, even if bright like that.
Also not sure about the facial expression. Mouth on one side, and eyes/eyebrows on the other side seem to give me conflicting cues. But I have no idea what is actually going on there, and how it could be improved. So take this with a huge grain of salt ...

So, I've been working on goblin girl a little bit...

I've come up with a skin color that is a nice blend of her original, paler skin color and the one with the filter I've been using that you can see on old goblin girl. Same thing with her hair color.

I made her freckles more subtle, same thing with the blushies. Added a soft shadow on her nose so that it doesn't look too bare. I made her bangs slightly longer and her facial scars slightly less prominent.
As for her attire, I didn't change that much. The collar she had didn't make much sense, I imagine the new one being made of animal bones stiched together. I have no idea how that piece covering her pussy even stays on (I couldn't find a way to make convincing straps along her hips - connecting to it), but I like it. More importantly, I ditched the old generic metal stick she originally had as a weapon and gave her a rudimentary looking spear I imagine she hunts/defends her cave with.

I got kinda attached to the old "attire" though (I mean, the new one is just slightly less naked, I don't know if I can even call that an outfit) so I may just keep the changes to her facial features and keep both. Along with the spear and her bone collar, of course.

Thoughts?

Aye, that I did. The last couple of Otakons, I went in kigurumi/animegao cosplay, and in the dealers' room, there were a couple of gothic booths that had corsets. Since I was out there, I was like 'why not' and gestured to try it out. Pretty tight indeed!

Yep! I used the back 2 slots, 30 and 29. 30 was a large circle, large enough to cover the entire face, slightly darker than the skintone but not so it looks "muddy". 29 was a smaller circle, the skin tone, covering the face but only from the bangs under. Whereas curve facemarks (11 - 15) could have been used, it'd be pretty annoying to cover the entire forehead with them and would have to be made larger with code editing. So until the dev implements drop shadows, the closest we have is using curves and circles.

So I decided to spend the lost hour re-designing the characters I had made previously. On the left is their original design, and on the right is the re-design.

Mariella, the elf, has been kept mostly the same. I merely changed the 'weight' of where everything was on her so that she both didn't look dis-proportionate and that you would naturally look at her as a whole character.

Kisume, despite looking completely redone, only had the same minor changes as Mariella. Her changes were more to coincide with her nomadic backstory. The uniform is a total redesign, and I could write a quick backstory on it at a later time.

Kisekae's based on a lot of clicked buttons and dragging sliders, and only a little keyboard interaction. I don't think it would be a huge stretch to make it work on mobile. Though the tabs and buttons probably are way too small for it in the current state.
