Why even care what others think? You want to share the content because it's good, not because you need attention, do you?

Besides, if you make the same sort of stuff regularly, especially if it's original and creative, you will eventually get a following. And if that's not the case, then sometimes even simply switching the models up would do the job, since most people probably orientate themselves around the characters they like. If they then disregard your work, it may simply be because they just like other characters much more, rather than not being able to appreciate good cinematography or other craft.

The way I perceive iwara, it simply is a platform where people can share their work, without it being affected by the anti-lewd policies of normal Western video platforms, without the videos being downscaled by streaming services, without the speed and premium account limitations from Japanese services, without the sekrit klubs.
In that way, it is unique, which is why it perplexes me, if some people don't want to use it. There is no better platform for H MMDs, as of now.

Also, because I download the videos, I have literally never had a problem with the servers, and my iwara folder is at least 380GB big right now.

the loli model? it's a mixfuck i made time ago, with konko's body and a little modified mikane serebi's head (i took the twintails off) ; for the bunny suit,i cut a good deal of the same konko's body and move some vertex till i get the shape of a bunny suit and put it on the nude edit (i resize a little so it doesn't clip). this worked decently because the body is flatchested, and bunnysuits are meant to be skintight and usually with no parts on the armpits and shoulders, had the model been big breasted the vertex on the chest area would have been a bit of a pain to move; for the wrists, tie, shoes and bunny ears i pick them from another model, i think it was on mmda, and it was a 3dcg conversion, so there should be a mod set somewhere for those parts.
i made this like a year ago though, i think i will have to revisit it someday and see if there's any mistakes (which i'm sure it has)
for the effects i used. iirc it has adult shader v013, diffusion6 and DOF, really old versions of the three. the loli's skin doesn't have the adult shader though, since serebi's face works just like the LAT miku models so putting a shader will make it look disturbing

I could do a good headswap in like an afternoon. It would take me two weeks to a month of working every day to model an original character, texture it, rig it, make sure it works in mmd, etc.
A decent headhack would give essentially the same results, take much less time, require a lot less effort, and cost a ton less.

I've been watching mmd and browsing these threads since the first one. It's just not worth it. This is different from encouraging lurkers to create content. The japanese are complete assholes when dealing with strangers. Believe me, this is relatively small community and these guys will go out of their way just to narrow the amount of people who can enjoy this dumb niche fetish. I don't like it when some fucking kid on Youtube puts a scene of my video in his "MMD Lamb +18 compilation", but I want people to enjoy the content I've made and join the fun. I've been wanting more headswaps that use the Kanon body, considering it's superior to almost any other body out there. I'm surprised no one has made an Angela model with the Kanon body, as I'm fairly certain Kakomiki uses the same base body for most of his models.

I'd also want someone to make facial sliders for the Donald Trump model, fix the hands and generally tweak the model, but I'm guessing that would be a much bigger project than a simple headswap.

I taught myself some basic editing a few years ago and got to the point where I could do simple headswaps, but I just don't have the time or energy to relearn it all. I'll be getting a sizable chunk of money soon thanks to a lucky real estate investment, and might pay for edits like this. Yeah, when I scaled her legs longer to make her height match the original model, I think the proportions got fucked up. That's why she looks so goddamn skinny. Luckily the kakomiki model has body scalings to size her up when clothes are off.

Yeah every rip from Sketchfab has holes in it both because the ripping tool is a bit shit and because sketchfab uploaders actively try to combat ripping.
