Chrome is too locked up and anti feature. It works generally better than FF, but it also displays a lack of respect for the intelligence of its users by skipping out on an about:config page and having so few options.

I had at least 20 addons and 10 scripts in ff. Practically all of them to speed up browsing and download productivity.

Chrome now does all of it without the leaks and faster than ff.

I'm sure you know, ff is soon to deprecate many addons anyway. Of course chrome started with less extensions because ff had a head start, but as most people now use chrome, its only a matter of time until it catches up, if it hasn't already.

I had the exact same mentality as you up until about a month ago, until I saw how fast chrome loads some pages that ff struggles with. Then I ran both browsers for a while as I looked for ways to do what I could in ff.

It won't neccessarily work out perfectly for everyone, there might be some things people need firefox for but I don't see why anyone couldn't run both browsers at once and get the best of both worlds.

I wish I could make Chrome ask if I wanted to save my session if I am closing it while it has multiple tabs open. But it goes against their "No popups asking the user anything because that makes it not simple" policy. I am aware of Session Buddy, but it's not as fluid having to manually save a session rather than asking me when I want it to automatically.

The way I have FF setup to do it is perfect. If I only have one tab open I generally don't want it saved, since it's just one tab. If I have lots of tabs open I either want them saved because I'm working on something I want to return to later, or I don't want them saved because they're all porn and they served their purpose and I don't want them coming up when I open my browser next time. So I want it to ask in that case.

I'll switch to chrome when it gets tree style tabs, that shit is just too good.

I downloaded a video with JDownloader 2 and a few others and it came out as a 11mb MP4 file (probably the economy quality video but it's not economy now) but Media Sniffer got a higher quality 22mb flv. Normally I have no problems with JD, I've used it to download from fc2, iwara and niconico without problems but is JD and such broken for nicovideo or is this because of the new encode thing in nicovideo or what the hell is going on? Should I just use media sniffer for nicovideo from now on?

guys, i want to ask you if any of you have the 3dcg mod XPC04096?
days ago while i was eyeing the mod catalogue i found a "loli robot" mod set that picked my curiosity, but the original version as well as its updates are no longer available in the uploader, and after searching the xpc code in google the only thing i found besides their pages in the 3dcg database are 4-years old posts in hongfire requesting it too.
now, after checking hongfire i found a listing of a big ass mod collection that is in nyaa: turns out the mod i'm looking for is in that torrent, but the collection is zipped in one file, and the fucking thing is 110 gb, so basically i would have to download the whole thing to get it, and sadly i don't have neither the dl speed or the space in my pc for that.
if any of you managed to completely torrent that behemoth of a file, would you please upload it to mediafire or tstorage? i admit that i haven't found pics of it so i don't know if the mod is worth the hassle, though i have the idea that it should be the same body the pixiv user SIY has showcased in some pics.(linked since /e/ doesn't allow loli)

Is MMD x64 just completely broken on Windows 10? PMX editor constantly spits out all white models after editing, MMEffects doesn't load half the time, either generating nonsense errors or loading 'correctly' but changing nothing.

I Have Windows 7 and some the MMEffects also doesn't load. Either it is loaded in the wrong way (some effets have difficult or different way to load it) or the folder have japanese letters what MME maybe 'don't like' or dosen't load because the GPU can't handle the effect.
