I'm a Chisato fan first and foremost, but it's rough being a Yuki fan. EXII could have been great for her. The author defintely trolls her fanbase since she really hasn't had much of an intimate solo scene with Basara compared to the other girls. Yes Chisato is referenced in EXII, but it just plays on the rumor floating around the school that she has a boyfriend. The plan is to jump back into volume 9 since we've completed all of volume 8 part 3. Other than Zest's solo scene I think we are pretty much done with volume 8, because there doesn't seem to be much of an interest in the earlier parts. This week's translation is going to cover Celis' introduction. The following week should either be Zests solo scene or Celis' bath scene with Mio (depending upon which gets funded first).

5 threads in 4 months is pretty damn good by /e/'s standards. Shinmai threads used to linger for 6 or so months until I took over making them. I don't know if you've realized it or not but 4chan is pretty much the only place where there's active discussion about the series. The people who talk about this series here for the most part, aren't completely retarded or spewing out head canon based upon the wiki or out of context spoilers they got from somewhere else. If it wasn't for Chisato fans being proactive the crowdfund project wouldn't have happened. If it wasn't for Chisato fans nobody would have purchased the limited edition BD1 for EXII. Chisato fans are actually put their money where there mouth is and support the series (I know the crowdfund project has fans of other girls and I ask every week if there's any requests for their content).

At this point, the bitching is a bit ridiculous. I start the thread off by giving a brief summary of some of the things that happen durring EXII. I even complain about the continual lack of any Yuki solo content in the series. Rather than asking about EXII you decide to continue your bitching from the last thread about Chisato.

Secondly, although the author promised Mio a sex scene in volume 10 that doesn't make her the star. The demon realm arc ended in volume 7. We are currently in the hero arc of the story. This is pretty much Yuki, Kurumi, and Celis territory. Whichever girl gets the cover of volume 10 or Arashi volume 5 will probably get the next thread named after them.

Well we also must take into account the studios that make these animes, was the anime just to market the LN and if there's other anime the company can spend time on. At this point IMS has many other projects they are doing and not only that Haifuri outsold both seasons. We don't know if the companies are like the ones that made the two anime you mentioned or if those two companies had other projects they even had planned outside those anime. I just saying it wouldn't make much sense going back to an anime that did borderline decent when they have future anime projects and a series that already did better than that so worry about. Plus we can't count out how well HxH will sell. With Hundred selling poorly they might put harem shows like that on hold if HxH sells poorly too. Its like watching porn and in mid scene the screen fades to black and the narrator just tells us a summary of what happened afterwards. Like I said I know it's to prevent the chapters and lewd scenes from being too long and dragging on but damn why give us all that content then move on right after. I feel like what you should've done was do the lewd scenes, have them climax, go to the next scene and in that scene reference that they did more in the previous part. Its like a smack to our faces to read a lewd scene and than it stops and just tells us they did continue but it never goes into fuller detail. I'm more of a never leave a scene half finished kind of guy and it feels like he's doing that in the way he chooses to end these scenes off

Also lets all be honest we're not reading these scenes just because it's part of the plot but because we get enjoyment, especially under the belt, out of them. We all know it's sucks when get really into a scene and it just ends on us. The worst part is where the scenes end tend to possibly be the hottest part of the entire scene. We all would've rather have scene how Basara takes advantage of Chisato's hymen at the end of volume 8 and in her volume I scene. What they did in the shower together was probably hotter than the window scene. And Basara pleauring both Mio and Zest was probably really sexy. Its a shame that he skipped over all these parts that seemed to have more potential than the rest of them. Once again though I understand why but it truly does suck that he does

The point I was making about Yuki is how Uesu has a history of shitting on her. Even 5 years prior to the series starting, Uesu made it a point to say that Basara didn't just save Yuki, but he also saved Brynhildr. It's even worse in EXII, because her scene was written as if she was finally going to have a good solo scene, and then it switches to Mio and Kurumi in the shower together.

I don't want to comment too much on HxH, because I don't really want their fanboys coming back in here. I will say that the HxH author is definitely a Testament fanboy. He's ripped more than a few things from Testament. The MC getting a "trump card" that would allow him to fight against the gods and the pussy spreading (it was written nowhere near as graphic as the way Chisato's was described) is straight out of Testament volume 8.

I think there are cases where certain scenes definitely ended too abruptly. You definitely named most of them lol. I think the ending with the Mio and Zest scene was supposed to be comical with Maria pretty much taking revenge for the way Mio and Zest pretty much molested her in the bath. It's possible that some of the scenes that you mentioned were longer in other drafts, but had to be cut down for the plot. I do like how characters reference some of the lewd stuff that has happened in the past. Mio thinking about the lewd shit she did with Basara in volume 7 during her scene with Zest and Basara in volume 8 was a nice touch that added some depth to the scene that originally might not have been there. A similar thing happens with Chisato in her side story where she thinks about how the stuff she did made her feel. At least for me it makes the scenes a bit sexier knowing how the characters feel after the fact.

I think with volume 9 Uesu has found a happy medium between Plot and plot. Other than way the Chisato scene in the infirmary ended abruptly I have no issues with the way the lewd scenes were handled.

I think one of the reasons as to why some of the scenes end abruptly is most of the time Uesu isn't writing smutty scenes for the sake of writing smutty scenes.The girls and Basara get a great amount of character development through them. Yuki and Kurumi's scene with Basara in volume 9 is the perfect example of this. The writing gets pretty smutty, but it juxtaposes nicely with how it showed Yuki letting go of the her parents, sakuya, and the Village. Even the narration of Basara's thoughts at the end was great, because it showed how he was really taking responsibility for the well being of the Nonaka sisters. If Uesu can keep doing shit like that I really can't knock him for ending some of the scenes abruptly. Hopefully we get another volume at some point that's similar to volume 6 that is pretty much just dedicated to fan service and expands upon some of the scenes that ended too damn fast.

By volume 7 the contract girls are literally points away from 100% synchronization with Basara as their master. I think they are well at the point where titty sucking or booty groping just isn't enough to get the job done. Although some of the scenes end abruptly, I haven't read anything that has matched the writing of the lewd scenes in volumes 8 or 9 of Testament. It's still pretty much the gold standard.
I don't think Uesu really needs to step it up when it comes to plot or PLOT. Volume 8 was more or less an extended epilogue tie together plot points introduced in the Zolgear, School festival, and Demon realm arcs of the story. Shit kinda hit the fan with the way volume 9 ended and Shiba going rouge ready to expose all the shady things the heroes have been doing. I'm not too worried about the Mio sex scene. All the girls are mentally and emotionally at the point where having sex with Basara isn't going to feel forced and will happen in an organic way. Uesu has done a great job of adding passion into the smutty scenes, and it's difficult for me to think of a scene in this series that lacked any type of passion and was just smut for the sake of writing smut.

At the very least,we know Chisato won't allow Basara to be a bitch and use his fingers to satisfy her. Chapter 10 of volume 8 part 3 ends with Basara taking Chisato from behind, thrusting into her and "ejaculating straight into her hymen" (that's the literal translation of that part). Uesu vaguely explains how it works. She wants to go all the way, but not going all the way is what allows for Basara to dominate her mind.

On one point it's something new and on another it's like waiting for another season for an anime for about a year and just getting a filler ova.
