Yeah you can see that it's the sexual stuff that sells this series, why else would the author raise the bar in each new volume. The author sees what is selling with his fans and makes sure to give it to us in each volume, he even realized how popular Chisato is and made her the ONLY woman to have a scene in both 8 and 9. IMS would have double what they have now if they showed us a bit more than they have been. The series Gantz had sex scenes without any problems so I don't know what's holding them back. All they really have to do is give Basara a ghost dick and that's it. Hey business wise it would be a great idea. They should release two seperate dvds each during each BD release. One version has the plot and action scenes while the other has all the lewd scenes in their original LN graphic detail. I mean adults are the ones buying these anyway so why hold back. If they work with a hentai company for the sexual scenes, if they don't do it themselves, it can be something like the Marvel movies. How the MCU and the X-Men movie safe two serperate things but Marvel makes a profit from both franchises. A hentai version of any of Chisato's scene by itself would out sell all the BD releases.

In the case of the LN sales from what I've seen it sales pretty well. Its always consistently in the top 20 LN sales each year. From what I've seen it actually is one of the better selling harem ecchi LN out there. The first 3 chapters of Tachibana was translated last year and it was so different. Yuu was much better at sex than he was in the manga and did break Koharu's hymen. This Shinmai translation project has worked so far because the series and characters are popular to the point where people are willing to contribute what they can in an effort to get content translated on a consistent basis.

The translated part of volume 9 suggests that there's still quite a bit for Chisato to learn as a sex slave. Up to this point, she's pretty much done everything except for anal. Basara seems to be much more physical in his relationship with her compared to the other girls so hopefully we get some anal play in the future.

The project list is in some serious need of an update. So if anybody has any suggestions don't be shy.

I really don't know why the Arashi manga is ending, but I believe people stopped scanning the raws, because it's gotten a bit stale. Hopefully Chisato makes an appearance in the final chapter.

I don't think Arashi ending is any indication that the light novel is going to be ending soon. The lesson to be learned from this is that we should actively start following the LN authors social media.

Hopefully the artist that illustrated arashi goes on to help with the vanilla manga, because those illustrations aren't as good.

IMS really needs to kick up the ecchi scenes. I think Testaments biggest obstacle is all the DxD comparisons. If they go into a more softcore hentai/ action harem route people will start to take notice. The company's problem is that they don't fully commit to what make this series so different and special, its graphic content. They should start fully committing to the sexual acts and just use camera angles to not show too much of the act itself. You see a guy grouping breasts and your thinking that's standard in harem anime but if you see a guy performing and receiving such intense sexual acts with the girls that's when people are gonna say this is different. I'm not surprised the sales for BURST dropped because they were using volumes where the service picked up and didn't deliver. S1 had tamer stuff to work with so they didn't need to edit much stuff but here was different completely. Imagine if we got a Zest bj and titjob during her contract scene or Chisato's volume 6 scene or even Mio's full vol.7 scene the series would've twice as much money.
