There's a lot of issues with the current script when not running through Apache, it's running on php-fpm on the new site.

One of reasons it's proxied like that now is because of the CDN load balancing that goes through nginx only.

Is there a way to get better SELF shadows without the excellent shadows shader .fx? With this .fx there is no way to apply other cooler shaders like Adult Shader. Does something like this exist as an .x file? It does for GROUND shadows but I need it for SELF shadows.

I'm not really sure, if this is what you are looking for, but try give it a try.
Load NCHLshader2 and delete the effects, or keep the ones you need, doesn't really matter.

This way the excellent shadows2 stays active (in theory), and you can load a different effect on your model.

Don't forget to turn on Fshadow top right. But I've tried that at lowest shadow range for very sharp self shadows. But when you want a full body shot, the shadow range isn't enough and doesn't show self shadow. Then you need to slide the shadow range to far until it reaches the model, but then the self shadow looks like shit again. Even with Fshadow on.

Can someone recommend a model with a decent ass/vag that doesn't look like a dot, so it will look good when I view it up close in VR? I know how to set up both SFM and MMD for the Vive, but only the SFM models are decent while most MMD models are better viewed on screens at low resolutions. i think they are one of the few (if not the only ones) that has morphs for the private parts (anyone, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong), there are other rmodels that has other neat features, like this guy's ( https://bowlroll net/user/49240 ), they have butt and thigh jiggle physics, but the bone set up (especially in the shoulders and neck) tend to be are weird, and also the eye mesh is like a solid chunk of mesh instead of your typical flat one.

I can't answer that since I don't know your situation, but I'm buying the Vive because of many reasons. Some of them include fapping reasons, but not all of them. If you just want to fap and watch porn you might be happy with a cheaper headset. I'm probably going to mostly use it to fap and watch porn, but I'll probably mess around with some games, meditation and exploration type shit, and possibly do some development if I feel like it. No. People getting Vive are making bets that Vive will have more and better games over its lifetime because Valve will dominate the VR gaming ecosystem with Steam and that Facebook won't be able to break through, . We'll see how it plays out by the time next gen VR is released (ie Rift 2 or Vive 2).

If you don't care about gaming, get the Rift, it's $200 cheaper.

Also, Japan is much more "aware" of Oculus right now and has more devs for the Rift, eroge like CM3D2 and SBPR (partially) have Rift compatibility, but that could change quickly.

Not him, but configuring Freetrack is too hard for me and I doubt any eroge will support it.
Trinus is the easiest way to play PC VR using cardboard, but it doesn't support any HMD detection on game like 3DCM 2+ or MikuMiku Moving os its useless(right now)

The only thing you can do with cardboard is watching a static 3D stereoscopic video or hope someone create an eroge APP but that still mean you need to buy a high end smartphone that cost fuck ton.

I have a couple of things to add to this point.
You'll be able to play anything you can play on the Vive on the Rift since devs are working to make it so, and it's not hard to do. So exclusives won't even matter. Rift is 200 dollars cheaper indeed, but you also don't get touch controllers like you do with the Vive, you only get an xbox controller, which makes most people feel like puking. Controllers and VR don't fit well imo. The touch controllers will most likely make the price about the same. Also Vive has roomscale out of the box if you're interested in that. For Rift, they say it's possible, but no one really knows, and you'd still need to buy the extra cameras for it. Also, Japan is only aware of Oculus because it has had dev kits out for years now. Most devs are very interested in the Vive, the NekoPara dev recently posted her Vive on twitter. So expect much support for either headset you choose. Cardboard is really trash in my opinion, and I wouldn't buy it for any reason whatsoever. It's not real VR at all. CM3D2 and SBPR will both be working on Vive probably around the time it launches since it's so easy to port things from Oculus support, and both games were made in Unity I think. There's really not much you can do to go wrong if you're interested in VR. Rift supposedly has marginally better picture quality. Just go for what you want.

I know there has been some concern about having a proper tag systems for trollvids, so let me get some opinions here.

As of right now, the new site won't have a premade tag system. Thought about it, but didn't go with it at this time. For now and instead of that, what if we had a written guideline for tags and what to choose for them.

My thought here is simply to make it so there is not a large variety of tags that mean the same thing, and also to stop having so many useless tags. I believe we could even appoint some "tag lords" that can both correct tags and also report to the user what they did and why.

I've been using JDownloader 2 beta and some FF plugins to download videos for a while now, but downloading from trollvids using those is very bothersome. I'm manually copying out the names and moving videos to folders of the uploaders.

Is there something that can download from trollvids, move the file to a folder named after the uploader and rename the file to this format:
ID (if trollvids has something like this) -- uploader -- video name.extension

I'm using this layout, including the separating " -- ", for my NND downloads:
sm number -- uploader -- video name.extension
