She's got it good, but it may not make her feel good to know that she's primarily viewed as a pair of fun-bags. As for me? I can use people's assumptions to get picked first during sports, scare people out of intervening when I'm doing something I shouldn't (because, you know, "they're violent and can fight"), and pick up one-night stands (after all, we're hung like a horse). Even better, I have a much less chance of being harassed by regular civilians.

The problems for both groups go far deeper than people who don't fall into either category will ever know. Everyone's got problems, though.

If being attractive were so much of an issue, I'd imagine we'd see a lot more breast reduction surgery going on. Nobody gets breast reduction surgery because they find themselves too attractive.

Don't get me wrong, there are relative risks associated with everything; including being very attractive. People might choose to dress conservatively, but to keep this in perspective, nobody cares enough to consciously make themselves unattractive.

When I first meet someone I'll judge them by their appearance, frankly what the hell else are you supposed to do? The persona they present to you isn't going to be very real anyway and you may not have time to make a decision based on more than impressions. There is no inverse relationship between attractiveness and/or breast size and depth of character, unattractive people can be vapid, shallow and petty. It's a crapshoot either way so why not approach someone you're more attracted to?

Personally I prefer to approach girls who are attractive and a little out of my league. Whether it is a degradation is a matter of perspective and opinion, but I shall explain why I see it this way. Very simply, consider the converse to my statement.

The base line of accepted males within this society, then, might conceivably be a man, coaxed by societal stigma, who weighs his desire to have sex against his interest in the woman whom he would have to spend time fostering a real connection with before copulation, lest he become a pariah of sorts. Doesn't this man, erogenous in his relations with women, seem still more likely to find a significant romantic connection in a society which views intellectual and emotional intimacy as a prerequisite to copulative pleasure than this same man placed in a society which lauds promiscuity? Wouldn't he also be less likely to diminish the self worth of the women with whom he consorts if he were expected to only be sexually active with women whom he loved?

Of course, I'm talking in idealistic and speculative terms. I understand that in reality, humans tend to settle somewhere in the middle of these two extremes.

I've read this was a myth.

So was the idea that bras prevent breasts from sagging over time.

neither will help avoid or cause your breasts to sag.

Skin is very strong and elastic. Skin cells are constantly dying and being replaced by new ones. Gravity does not cause skin to sag.

Sagging is caused by loosing elasticity over time in the skin, as a result of aging; and nothing can stave that off. Even if you wear a bra all your life, your skin will loose elasticity.

If you have big breasts, they're going to sag eventually for almost everyone.

So enjoy 'em while you can.

The thing about boobs: What do they DO exactly? They feed babies, and entertain men. (and some women) But uniquely in biology, they have no direct benefit to the person who spends her life carrying them around.

Imagine you are marooned alone on an island. Better arms, legs, senses, immune system - all will help you survive. But nicer boobs? They will just slow you down - pure liability. If you were always cute, it might motivate more men to come looking for you. But guess what they'll want when they find you?

Because of this, male ideas about "rugged individualism" and "individual achievement" will always put women at a disadvantage. For women, community support, teamwork, and the rules of civilization will always be critical to survival.

There was this girl at my secondary school called Kate with massive boobs, she was otherwise slim and petite besides from her tits. It was some medical condition. You couldn't tell most of the time because our uniform was a blazer and shirt but during PE the girls' uniform was a sports top and pleated skirt. She physically couldn't run.
