Wont weld

Anywhere i can find a manual?? Youtube has a look-a-like but its a diffrwnt name and has a newer pannel. Iv been searching for a few weeks now.

I guess i should have said its a welder /genorator the gyro spins perfictly. Its not physiclly dammaged.

What voltages are you expecting? I thought 65 is typical. The dial is set for the max current, to get higher voltages you will have to lower the current right?

Lifan used to make a generator/welder with the same model number. Lifan has a new model (AXQ1-200A) the only difference is a higher amp output. this is the wiring diagram for the AXQ1-200A

Judging by the dust I would check for blocked filter or dirty carburetor, a blocked filter or blocked carburetor jet can cause loss of power under load.

Correct, stick welders use a high ocv to get started then pan out once the arc is steady, it's the amps that count in this game, stick (arc) uses constant current variable voltage.
if you can't get it to lay a weld and you can actually weld/not just poor technique then it could be the generator, I remember a gen/welder we had at work that some rocket surgeon fiddled with, thinking they would get it to go better (faster, more power was their thinking), it ran but not at the correct speed for how it was designed, therefore the generator side of it wouldn't put out correct power, that's all I can think of..
