Is there a better method than toner transfer?
IS copper the best metal?

Also, where do I get the glass fibre?
>>

>better method
probably something involving a laser cutter
>is copper the best
no, gold and mercury are the best.
>where to get glass fibre
a retailer of fiber glass?
>>
In theory you could bond metal foil to a flat and even sheet of fiberglass substrate to make a truly home-made PCB. In practice this is probably dumb.

I can do better than that! There are 3d printers that can print printed circuit boards.

I'm not supposed to say this, but HP is also working on printing electronics.

This, as much as I don't want to admit it.

I just got some boards from OSHpark. $5 a square inch for a professionally made double sided board, and you get three copies for that price.

Makes me wish I didn't spend the money a year back for a UV photo resist setup. I'll probably still use it for prototyping, but goddamn, these boards are flawless.

I'd rather my traces not be made out of play-doh.
>hp
havnt they also been working on Memristors for like 20 years now?

>>I'd rather my traces not be made out of play-doh.
good cause they're made of silver.(they got a way to do copper though)

>>havnt they also been working on Memristors for like 20 years now?
only since 2008. They have bet the farm on 3d printing though
>>
>>958957
HP's (HPE I think; fairly sure they got the tech) inability to do anything with memristor memory is fucking infuriating.

>hp anything ever
Fiorina please go. Your company is shit. Literally one of the most hated in the world.

Dry film, buddy

Order copper clad boards and dry film from aliexpress
>>
In theory you can make your own multilayer thick film hybrids using an ink jet and a small kiln.

But I don't know where to get a cheap inkjet suited to printing industrial materials on a rigid surface.
