So this just broke. It's the cover for my garage light. What the heck do you call these things and where can I find replacements?

you're not likely to find that unless it's from an old unit someone threw away. however, you can buy that material at Home Depot , etc, in sheets of, maybe 4ft x 2 ft. they're in the building materials section, next to the wood. you'd have to cut it with an acrylic knife, and rig it to stay in place, maybe with some wire pushed thru tiny holes drilled in the plastic and in the fixture.
the other option is to say, "Fuck it, it's a garage, so who cares?"

You are more than likely gonna have to put up another light. Its not that much, prolly ~$25-40. I dont think they sell replacement covers for those types. You could try to buy one that looks almost the same (remember to take measurements) and just change the cover, and save the light for when the ballasts burn out of the old one.
