I myself prefer physical copies, but you can find a pdf of it and at least look at it if not anything else.

I don't think so in general, but I like having books because I can leave them opened to a page. If I had extra ebooks or something perhaps not.

I've found plenty of resources online which replace the book well enough. I even linked one.
