I have an ugly daybed in the room with this desk that I would like to make into a matching piece of furniture. The desk is made of 1" thick particleboard with a dark cherry colored plastic laminate covering and a matching rubber strip around the top edge. I know these are common as fuck, but I can't find a manufacturer on it anywhere. I'd like to try to contact them and see if I can buy matching slabs or parts to make a daybed frame out of.
Thanks!
Rubber strip.
Could possibly be considered mahogany colored- it's a deep red.

Ethan Allen, I forget what model. Recently disco'd. Picked up at a Salvation Army shop for $40. Not bad, list price is something like 2k.

Oh, why didnt you say so. Anyways go find a bunch of old furniture that normies have thrown out, and then laminate the ever loving shit out of it (Good excuse to buy a thicknesser). And then just stop dado in your legs with some dowells (can also use pocket holes to hold it in place while the glue dries).
Basically what im getting at is woodworking is piss easy and you for the most part just make shit up as you go along.
That looks like a H.O.N. office desk. I used to assemble office furniture.

me again. This stuff is insanely overpriced. If you're looking for parts then search for some local office furniture installation company. We had tons of stuff laying around that you would probably want and I couldn't find this type of desk on their website but I'm 99.9% sure it's HON.
That's not HON, that's OSP (Office Star Products). HON doesn't do the ridged strip on the front, OSP does.
