so I'm working on pic related and it needs new belts, however replacement belts are like, 30$ for all of them. is there a way to DIY cassette belts? there's no way it's too complicated, just needs to be a belt that turns with no seam. what material should I DIY with? are there any guides to it that are more professional than rubber bands?
making vulcanized rubber belts isn't as easy as you thing it is.

Have used those on larger reel to reels and projectors with success.
Got some cheapo ebay belts a while back and they had a tiny bump in one part where cut. Sounded ashit so ditched them for some belts from local supplier instead.

I bought a kit of a bunch of cheap ones on Aliexpress a few months ago for $2. The quality control is bad, but you get so many that you can just pick and choose the best ones for your purposes.
I also have been told that silicone o rings might be a good replacement by some people, and people in this thread seem to have done it, but I haven't tried it personally (yet).
