I need to cut a 10mm thick, 2 something meters by 1,50m piece of naval plywood into a smaller rectangle for a table top. I have only a cross cut saw with high TPI and a big rip saw. Has someone attempted something similar? I don't have power tools and I don't want to invest in a circular saw just for this project.

you don't want to invest 50$ for the most useful tool you could ever want for construction? go away child

I live in a apartment, will probably use it only for a table, will move out in 3 years to some other country. And due to economic fuckups here it costs more like 150 $

also a circular saw is 1/2 the value of a table. A table top, screws, drill heads, legs will probably be the same price. And buying a table kind ruins the point.

then stop whining and do the best you can with your hand tools. and post worthless shit like this in the general thread QTDDTHD/SQT or whatever it's called. it's in the catalog for "derp I don't have shit and I need to do something simple as fuck" questions.

your delightful thread pushed a thread off this board, and it might have been about paint and painting tips, or guys who have thousand dollar robots in their garage and yet use them for nothing but stupid assed sex crap.

So you just want a piece of plywood cut into smaller length and width? The hand saws will do fine, although it's likely you won't get flawlessly straight edges. You should watch some Youtube videos to get tips on how to keep handsaws straight.

The only way to truly get straight finishes with hand tools is to finish with planes, but a decent plane will cost more than a cheap table. And I'm not even sure planes are good with plywood edges to be honest with you family.
