You could contact pressure washing companies in your area. Also, lots of housepainters do their own pressurewashing which might be more desirable than just pressurewashing every day.
Of course the better housepainting companies will want to hire a pro.

my area is very rural, so the few business that do this are shit and giant conglomerates so i couldn't really choose what i do
>here you get hired for one job and end up wearing 10 different hats
>"other duties as required" to the extreeme
I was assuming there'd be a niche for this
as in hire me for like $12-15 an hour
and I'll wash whatever u want
like powerwashing dudes trucks
>live near a mail haul depot
or washing peoples windows/driveways/decks
or prepping houses for sanding for other /diy/ers
so they don't have to absorb the cost of a cheap washer plus paint and supplies
y'know home maintenance kinda stuff
don't want a full time job, already have one
just want to blast the fuck out of things for money
>inb post on CL services/jobs
already did it, no bites

Just got a used 6.5hp briggs from a bro for 50 bucks.
Supposed to work but never tried it.
Assuming i can get it running can i use fairly clean stream water to wash thick mud off of equipment or does it have to have a garden hose with pressure?
Standard 2 wheeled dolly walmart special teir i am assuming.
If the motor runs it was worth 50 bucks just for it.
>>1220368
Actually yeah, especially near meat plants.
Source: some companies make you wash your trailer out before pickup. I was a driver
Spam channel 19 on the cb every few hours or times when it's busy.
Charge $10 a pop.
All u need is a dock to bump and a shitty old tractor to throw the nasty shit away with
Maybe a dumpster

>can i use fairly clean stream water to wash thick mud off of equipment
You might want a filter if any sand might occasionally be in the water, and a pressure washer will not pull water out of the creek. You can fill a container and elevate it a foot or two and that will be enough pressure. Lots of guys have a water tank on the same trailer as their pressure washer without any pumps to move the water, just gravity.
>>1220484
This.
Fucks sake grandpa nobody uses craigslist anymore
>>1220590
Cool. Thank you. Guess i will get to work on a filter of sorts then. I have been contemplating a holding tank. Luckily there is a pretty tall and accessible cliff near me. Can use a bucket to fill water tanks and have great water pressure.
Been trying to bypass the need tmfor a power washer alltogether but thick mud is a bitch

>a pressure washer will not pull water out of the creek
Depends if it's a direct drive or with gearbox.
If gearbox it can suck water out of a cistern or a stream easy.

>Charge $10 a pop.
What is this, fucking Ethiopia?
You can't run a business and charge less than minimum wage.
You need a hot water washer if you expect to blast road grime off the outside and Allah knows whatever organic garbage is on the inside.
The $200 Subaru from Lowe's will not cut it. You're looking at $1,000 for the washer alone.

Google Industrial powerwashing
