Any advice for securing sound dampening foam panels to a wavy steel ceiling? The ceiling is coated in a black paint called dryfall. The 3m spray adhesive seems to mostly work and I was thinking of just layering more on to the panels that drop but it might get worse over time. I tried a different spray, hdx from home depot, and it seems worse.

Might just put spot of super glue on the ceiling then use the spray to secure the foam in place while the super glue sets.

Just use some strong type 3M double sided foam type run along the peaks of the ceiling and press the panels onto it with a piece of plywood to ensure flatness
