HEy /diy does anyone of you here know a place where I can buy unicolored, flexible, ultra thin and cheap OLED foil?
>>
>>1215848
pretty sure you can't, unless you mean something like a led strip.
Anyway generally leds are monochromatic, they make polychromatic leds by "staking" more led in series in the same device and/or coating with fluorescent materials.

Yeah, good luck with that champ.

>And flexible
>>
>>1216206
its naturally flexible.
>>
>where can I get a new technology, with specfic conditions that make it even more expensive, for cheap
Build a factory in Asia
>>
The cheapest currently available is the Motorola Droid Turbo 2.
>buy phone
>realize it's shit
>strip out the AMOLED
>reverse engineer
>>
>>1216206
They are flexible by themselves

>>1216285
This is an option, the problem is that many new phones have the touch sensor and gorilla glass "welded" to the Panel, making it almost impossible to remove to the point where it's "flexible and ultra thin"
>>
>>1216277
lol you clearly haven't heard of OLEDs before just now. The technology is at least a decade old and is all of those adjectives OP asked for except cheap by nature of its design.
The high price point has kept OLED from taking its rightful place as the default display technology. >>1216285 is probably right, since the screens are costly you need to find a cheap place to steal it.
>>
>>1216336
Yes. The advantage of choosing the Moto Droid T2 is that it doesn't come with gorilla glass but rather a plastic screen protector that is easier to remove in one piece.
