A fucking datalogger

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

Hello /diy/,

Im creating a datalogger which measures a lot of variables ( kek)
one of them its from an irrometer (Watermark sensor 200SS) Which gives a 10-1000 centibars range value which needs to be converted into humidity according to this graph

http://www.irrometer.com/basics.html#use (check it till you see a graph of cb vs available water depletion)

So, this is where i need help, how to convert cb to humidity according to the graph. (sample program and equation would be appreciated :D)

heres the graph.

I will buy a game of 10 dollars ( keys for cs go, whatever the fuck) just post the solution with a fake email and ill deliver some links with the shit

once it works ofc...

What part of the explanation you don't understand?

How to convert from Centibar to humidity percentage.

Hard becouse its not a linear function

You either fit some processor-friendly curve (polynomial) to it or approximate it with in piece-wise linear fashion.

How xD?

I'm not sure if there is an equation that correlates this quantity with humidity but I find that quite unlikely.
Anyway the only information given is that graph, which only holds experimental data that correlates soil suction and "water depletion %" (which I suppose is the inverse of relative humidity) for various kind of soil.

The best you can do, is to select the curve that better describes you soil and sample it obtaining a sequence of (x,y) values. When you get a new data point x from the sensor (i.e. a value of soil suction) you "guess" the corresponding value of % water depletion by interpolation on the dataset.

Note: sampling data from a low resolution semilogarithmic graph will most likely cause a noticeable error on higher values.

there are two decent software to extract data from scanned graphs:

You can't do humidity but you can do soil moisture.

Which is what OP is after. But he wants someone else to do his homework. Not worth the 10 bux negro.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
